Life Day is here!
The Wookiees of Kashyyyk greatly value morality, courage, compassion and loyalty. As part of this sacred and ancient Wookiee tradition is to honor this around you. Wookiee celebrants pledge a commitment to lay down their lives for one another as well as members of any honor families these individuals may have.
Wookiees will often brave adverse conditions to make it home for this holiday as it is an important time for family bonding and thankfulness. Sadly though the Imperials and Blackscales are intending to prevent some of the Life Day celebrations from taking place this year..
In recent years, Life Day traditions have been adopted by the various species across the galaxy. Originally, the celebration was held once every three years, but as the joyous holiday has spread through the galaxy, many species and cultures hold the celebration once a year. This year on Omega you will be able to celebrate Life Day at the following festive locations including; Wayfar, Dearic, Doaba Guerfel & Kashyyyk Grotto Area!
If you haven't visited the Life Day grotto on Kashyyyk you can head straight to the entrance located at -756 19 263. Once there you’ll notice an extra gate has been added on the left side. You should click this gate and enter the celebration area! Once you have been through the gate continue up the hill. Please wear suitable footwear and wrap up warm!

Life Day wouldn't be special without you being a key part of the celebration. This year you can revisit Chewbacca in arranging ornaments on the Life Day Tree within the grotto. Don’t worry, It’s not a one time deal. You will be able to return every 24 hours to assist Chewbacca with ornament arranging. I’m hoping the Wookiee Life Day elders will reward you for helping him during this festive time of the year. The Life Day tree within the grotto has many gifts surrounding it, perhaps you should carefully unwrap some of them? There are new rewards added to Life Day vendors around the galaxy this year. (We hope you love them!)
You can enjoy Life Day starting December 17th through until January 14th 2020!
