@Senator ideas for engineering traders.

How about a new droid model for traders only. A HK unit with HK only specials in addition to what we already have (Maybe BH-like specials). With better stats than the SBD. Materials could be Mustafar, and space.

Traders can have 2 droids out at a time, or add new expertise slots to allow it, please. Maybe even expertise to buff our droids even more. Call them droid modifications.

Sampling Event....

Hello all,

New comer (3 weeks), I decided to start a trader.

Because I don't have a lot of money, I have to take my ressources using my bare hands (I'm not complaining of it, we all have to start somewhere).

My only "problem" with this solution is that when I got a sampling event, I'm not necessarly behind my keyboard (I have to work sometimes too), and this event "stuck" my character and he didn't take any ressources anymore...

Actually, I found a workaround using a macro, making my character sampling, stand and then, sampling again, the oly side effect I saw until then is a little slide (my character move back slowly)

Could it be possible to ask for:
-A change regarding the sampling events: (stuckl only 1 sampling and allowing the others)
OR
-An option to simply disable the sampling event

Bondara's Folly

Something I never did on live was the unknown crystal fragments collection which ultimately ends with Bonder's Folly lightsaber crystal. So recently, I spent 2 weeks farming for fragments and was over the moon to complete the collection with only 4 tier 2 shard duplicates. I tuned my Bonder's Folly and slotted it into my lightsaber and was pleased as punch, at least until I went krayt hunting with some peeps from my guild, one of whom was using a standard brown lightsaber crystal in his saber....

THE DAMN THING IS THE SAME COLOUR AS BONDER'S FOLLY - you cannot tell that I am using a rare named crystal at all! So after all that work, I am denied the kudos for having got the named crystal because everyone now thinks I have a brown saber crystal.....

The named crystals nearly always had a unique colour and its a real shame this one does not, especially as it takes some commitment to get it.

Could the incoming Jedi Senator please investigate the possibility of altering the blade colour for Bonder's Folly to something a little more distinctive - perhaps a vibrant or pale yellow or maybe a burgundy red?

Greetings everyone, I come from the Starsider galaxy. I was with the guild FRDM, my in-game names were Apocalypse, Stuby, Myt, and Flikk. How is this server doing as far as scripting, content and community? Any others that have come from Starsider that might recognize my name? Probably saw me mostly in Restuss and from the days of base busting PvP.

Galactic Senate - General Election Announcement

Effective Immediately, September 1, 2016, the voting polls for the general election of the Galactic Senate will be open to the public, and they will remain open until Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:59PM EST.

In light of all the complaints, as well as the suspicion that there may have been misused votes, potential election fraud in this last election, in the interest of fairness for this project, and for the fact that we cannot say with total certainty, that there was not one fraudulent vote cast, we have decided to treat the last election as a primary election, and the two candidates with the highest votes in each poll, will move onto a general election.

The general election will take place over the next few days, and will expire and close at the same time as the other round of elections currently going on. The candidates that ran unopposed, they will remain Senate Elects until they take office on Tuesday. This general election only applies to contested polls.

Details of those positions affected are below.

THE VOTING PROCESS

Any candidate that was nominated, during the nomination process, is automatically included into the polls for the position, unless the person withdraws from the election or they are otherwise disqualified from the running. As indicated above, the voting polls will remain open for a period not to exceed one week. Only players are permitted to participate in the electoral process of the Galactic Senate. ALL STAFF ARE PROHIBITED FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE ELECTION PROCESS, IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. Once the polls are closed, the votes will be tabulated and the Senate Liaison, Community Lead, or Operations Lead will announce confirmations for all newly-elected Senators. All elected Senators will serve a term of office, not to exceed six months time, upon which a new election will take place. IN ORDER TO VOTE IN THE ELECTION, YOUR ACCOUNT MUST BE 30 DAYS OLD

STAFF EXCEPTION RULE: IF NECESSARY, IN THE EVENT OF A TIED VOTE, THE SENATE LIAISON, AND ONLY HE, WILL CAST THE DECIDING VOTE.

The voting polls are now open for the following nominated candidates in the Galactic Senate:


SUBMITTING YOUR VOTE

All voting takes place in the threads listed above, using the provided poll system of these forums. Each member can only vote once in each poll, and the details of the vote will be kept strictly confidential until the winners of each vote are announced and made official, at the conclusion.

AS INDICATED ABOVE, ACCOUNTS MUST BE AT LEAST 30 DAYS OLD IN ORDER TO VOTE IN THIS ELECTION.

If anyone has a concern about a particular candidate, please do not hesitate to contact the Senate Liaison, by sending an email to swgsenate@swglegends.com or jodea@swglegends.com.

REMEMBER THAT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE STAFF EXEMPTION STATED ABOVE, STAFF WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE NOMINATION OR VOTING FOR ANY POSITION IN THE GALACTIC SENATE. THOSE THAT ARE ELECTED, SHALL BE ELECTED BY THE PLAYERS. THE ONLY TIME STAFF WILL INTERVENE, IS IN THE EVENT OF A TIED VOTE OR IF A SENATOR NEEDS TO BE IMPEACHED, AND THAT WILL ONLY HAPPEN WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE IMPEACHMENT POLICY.

Everhate for Senate

I, Everhate am running for Bounty Hunter senator. I have many
great Ideas for BH but the one I am here to talk about would be
bounty hunting systems in space (like not having to land to
pick up space bounty missions and some kind of dynamic system
where Smuggler can smuggle in space and Bounty hunter chase
them down.) since bounty hunting and Smuggling was Iconic in
Star wars.
I would like to get the Pilot and Shipwright senator support
along with the Smuggler senator to help push this forward.
My other issues are
1. Flawless set needing to be fixed/revamped
2. Pistols as a BH line, since this was made iconic by Jango
Fett
3. A Viable option to Melee as a BH (since when you create a BH
it says Expert in Melee and ranged) and hasn't been Viable since
CU
I would love to hear from the community. This is important to
me since my

My main toon is Jakka. I play primarily as a crafter having Jakka - Jedi, Akei - Engineer, Richie - Munitions, Amiya - Domestics. I do very little PvP, but do enjoy doing some PvE and helping folks out with heroics and such.
